This CDs span a fascinating arc over 300 years of music history: Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons converse with works by three contemporary composers which explore the sound spectrum of our times in a particular manner.

The present recordings are live recordings from the most recent festival inauguration concerts. In each of them, the solo violin of Vahid Khadem-Missagh and the residence chaber orchestra engage in dialogue with a second solo instrument. The encounters feature violin and percussion by Sylvie Bodorová (UA 2024), violin and accordion by Johannes Berauer (UA 2023) as well as violin and tenor saxophone by Daniel Schnyder (UA 2022).
