Igor Petrushevski

Widely considered as one of the leading violin teachers in Europe. His students are winners of competitions e. g. P. I. Tchaikovsky, N. Paganini, M. Long-Thibaud, Tibor Varga, Rodolfo Lipizer, Indianapolis, Tokyo, Wieniavsky. Regularly working in festivals: The Enescu Festival, Mozarteum Summer Academy, Beethoven Easter Festival. He is professor at the R. Wagner Konservatorium and the Honorary Professor at the Yerevan State Academy. His students are playing in orchestras e. g. the Vienna Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Covent Garden Orchestra, have solo careers and are teaching at universities worldwide. He is jury member of competitions: The George Enescu Competition, The London Oratory Competition, Tchaikovsky Competition for the Young Musicians and The Aram Khachaturyan Competition. He plays now on C. Storioni violin.
