Allegro Vivo celebrates its finale at the end of summer in the library of Altenburg Abbey. After an inspiring tour through the abbey and an interesting pre-concert talk music becomes the center of attention. Works by Dvořák, Mahler and Beethoven will show once more that “con fantasia” is a very fine way to enjoy life. This final work is a symphonic pointer to our next festival season, where we are going to celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday.
