2001–2012 principal cellist at Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and 1997–2001 at Philharmonia Hungarica. Concerts at Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall London and Gasteig Munich. Concerts with Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Tonhalle Zurich, DSO Berlin. In 2005 Franz-Liszt-Award, in 2008 the Junior Prima Award. Success at competitions, i.a. at the Geneva International Music Competition, Rostropowitsch Competition in Paris, Adam Cello Competition Christchurch and at the Radio Competition Budapest. In 2004 winner of the Pablo Casal Competition.
Studied in Lübeck with David Geringas, after completing his studies, Bernard Greenhouse expanded Fenyö‘s musical horizons.
