Doris Adam

Professor of a piano class at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Vienna since 1999. Lecturer of numerous master classes in Europe and Japan. Concerts worldwide with renowned orchestras like Symphonieorchester Basel, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Liverpool with conductors such as A.Eschwé, V. Fedosejev, M. Honeck. Longtime-Duo with Karin Adam and mutual musical exchange with other musicians such as members of the Vienna Symphonics and Philharmonics. Numerous CD recordings, solistic as well as chamber musical (with Karin Adam, violin). Awarded with the “Pasticcio-Preis” of ORF for the CD “50 Variationen über einen Walzer von Diabelli“. First prize winner of the Boesendorfer Competition Vienna. Award of distinction of the Federal Ministry of Science and Research. Studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with R. Kramer-Preisenhammer and H. Medjimorec.
