Information
The Benedictine monastery was founded in 1144. The high Baroque architecture dates from the 17th – 18th centuries and is one of the highpoints of Niederösterreich. Particularly noteworthy are the Kaiser steps, library, church and Sala Terrena as well as the uncovered „cloister under the cloister“.
