Edda Andrea Graf was born in Vienna and received her musical training at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts in Paul Badura-Skoda’s masterclass. She also studied with Ferenc Rados in Budapest and Elisabeth Leonskaja in Vienna.
Since 1989, she has worked as a solo and class accompanist at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, including in the classes of Tobias Kühne, Heinrich Schiff and Reinhard Latzko.
She was a regular accompanist for Sena Jurinac’s masterclasses (1991 to 1997) and accompanied auditions for the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and has performed in concert with, amongst others, Gundula Janowitz, Robert Holl, Boje Skovhus, Walter Berry, Marjana Lipovsek, Ernst Kovacic, and with the Philharmonic conductors Peter Schmidl, Ernst Ottensamer and Franz Bartolomey, as well as in four-handed performances with Elisabeth Leonskaja.
Edda Andrea Graf is a recipient of the Theodor Körner Fund award and the Lower Austria State Culture Prize.
