“Because I like being one: Healing masseuse”, Silke Dewath

Detours have led me to where, how and who I am today. It was my wish to integrate my knowledge and experience in dealing with a working world characterised by numbers, abstractness and stress into that of an immediately tangible and helping environment. I am grateful to be able to say that what I do and how I do it is meaningful to me.

My qualifications – in the health field I am authorised to practice the following professions: Medical masseuse with special qualifications “medical bath attendant” and “electrotherapy”. As a board-certified medical masseuse, I am authorised to practise my profession as a freelancer and as a commercial masseuse.

I have gained valuable practical experience both in the course of my massage activities in the team of physical medicine and rehabilitation in the Vienna Private Clinic and in the “Rehab Centre Stadlau”. My internship at the Lymphatic Clinic in Wolfsberg (Carinthia) is in line with my holistic understanding of health and my manual-therapeutic orientation of placing a high value on our functioning lymphatic system.
