Soloist and chamber musician. Concerts and musical successes worldwide together with the Eggner-Trio, which was founded in 1997. Concert performancesin Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Austria. First violin lessons at the age of 7 in St. Florian near Linz. At the age of 11 he started studies in the class of Boris Kuschnir at the Bruckner University of Linz, afterwards studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under Günter Pichler. Awardwinner of the national competition “Jugend musiziert” and “Prima la Musica” and of the international competition Concorso Internationale di Musica per I Giovani, Stresa (Italy). In 2001 winner of the competition “Ö1–Geige” (Ceruti 1840,sponsored by ORF and BAWAG). Master classes under Igor Ozim. Scholarships formerit from Alban Berg Foundation, Austria, Dr. Robert and Thyll Dürr Foundation,Switzerland and Tokyo Foundation, Japan.
