Since 2015 professor for viola at Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf. Founder and artistic director of “Festival 3B – chamber music in the Immanuel church Wuppertal”. Member of the Mariani piano quartet, awarded with a scholarship of the German Music Competition in 2011 and CD projects such as “Idée fixe“ with works of Enescu and Fauré. CD recordings with pianist D. Heide as well as with Leipzig String Quartet. Soloist with Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra Wuppertal and Bochum´s Symphonic Orchestra. From 2009 to 2010 first principal violist at Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. Prizewinner of numerous competitions such as Tokyo International Competition, ARD Munich, Concours de Genéve and German Music Competition. Studies at Lübeck Music Academy under B. Westphal, Juilliard School in New York and Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin under T. Zimmermann and L. A. Tomter.
