Ursula Magnes was Head of Music at radio klassik Stephansdom in Vienna from 2001 to 2025, a role in which she was responsible for developing countless programmes and series; she hosted artist talks at the Salzburg Festival, the Carinthian Summer, the Haydn Festival in Eisenstadt, the Festspielhaus St. Pölten and the Vienna Musikverein; most recently also presenter of the ‘Preiser Records Matinée’ at Café Prückel; works as a presenter, speaker, author and dramaturg; born in Carinthia; studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, specialising in recorder and oboe; has given numerous concerts at home and abroad and teaches at various institutions.
