Allegro Vivo 2019 is dedicated to the infinite realm of fantasy. For the occasion of the festival opening the Austrian composer Christoph Ehrenfellner wrote his double concerto for violin and cello, “Quasi una fantasia” – an intended link to Beethoven’s “Moonlight sonata”. Artistic Director Vahid Khadem-Missagh performs the solo violin and conducts works by Leoš Janáček and Béla Bartók.
