Peter Ovtcharov

Piano professor at the Yonsei Univerity Seoul, South Korea. Peter Ovtcharov is a lecturer at the summer academy of Allegro Vivo, master class piano, in Horn, a city near Vienna.

Solo performances with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Vienna RSO and other famous orchestras in Munich (Philharmony), Vienna (Golden Hall), Tokyo (Opera City Hall), Seoul (Seoul Arts Center). Chamber music performances, among others, with the cellist Adrian Brendel. CD recordings. Studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Prof. K.-H. Kaemmerling. Awarded with various European prizes and scholarships. 1997 Silver medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Youth, 2004 first prize at „Gradus ad Parnassum“, 2004 Silvio Bengalli Prize, 2005 award winner of the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. Master classes and jury service in Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, France, Italy and Austria. Founder and Artistic Director of the International Schumann Academy Positano.

Peter Ovtcharov studied at the Mozarteum Salzburg under Karl-Heinz Kämmerling.
