Patrick Demenga

Patrick Demenga is professor of a concert class at the Lausanne Conservatory and also teaches at diverse international master classes. He regularly comes to the Allegro Vivo Summer Academy and teaches a master class in Horn, Waldviertel.

Regular performances as a soloist and chamber musician at important festivals and in music halls, e. g. the Megaron in Athens, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Lucerne Festival. Has played with celebrated musicians like A. Jordan, H. Holliger and N. Gutman and with orchestras like the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich, the Munich Chamber Orchestra and the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna. Numerous radio-, TV- and CD recordings. He teaches a concert class at the Lausanne Conservatory and also teaches at diverse international master classes. He is the creative director of both the Four Seasons Concerts in Blumenstein and the Meiringen Festival of Music. As a musician, he draws his exceptional power of expression from the charged space between renowned composers, celebrated compositions and note worthy contemporary music.

The musician studied at the Bern Conservatory, in Cologne with Boris Pergamenschikow as well as with Harvey Shapiro in New York.
