Andreas Janke

Andreas Janke is professor for violin at Zurich University of the Arts.

First concert master at Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich; Concerts with the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra und Belgian National Orchestra. Performances at Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels, Dvorak hall Prague and Konzerthaus Vienna among others. Soloist and chamber musician at several festivals. CD with works by Schubert together with Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich. Part of the Oliver Schnyder Trio. Prize winner of international competition such as Queen Elizabeth Competition Brussels, Franz Kreisler Vienna and “Prague Spring”. Several scholarships from „Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volke“ and „Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben“.

Studied at University Mozarteum Salzburg under I. Ozim. He plays a violin from Carlo Bergonzi „Hozier, Andrews“ 1733-39.
