Arkadij Winokurow

Former professor at the Bruckner University in Linz, teaching position in Vienna. Arkadij Vinokurow has been a lecturer at the master courses at the Allegro Vivo Summer Academy in Horn for many years.

Concertmaster of the Arte Viva Quartet. Plays with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra i.a. in Switzerland, Turkey and France. Performance of works by Austrian composers, like Valdek, Jungwirth, Freudenthaler and Freitag. Has given master classes in Japan, Poland, Israel, Finland, Slovakia and Austria. Jury member of national and international competitions. Awarded with the Cross of Honour for Science and Art. Award winner of competitions such as Prague Spring and M. Long-Thibaud. 1979–80 guest professor at Tampere Conservatory, Finland, from 1972 professor at the Tchaikovsky University, since 1971 soloist at the State Philharmony of Kiev. Concert tours worldwide, broadcastings and CD recordings. Studied at the Tchaikovsky National Conservatory of Music in Kiev.
