Solo cellist of the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, Denmark, and cellist of the Mira-Quartet since the year 2000. Performances as a soloist with the Munchener Kammerorchester, Bruckner Orchester Linz, Hofer Symphoniker. 1997–99 solocellist at the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg. 1995–99 lectuter at the University of Music and Perfoming Arts in Vienna. 1983–95 international concert tours, teaching activity and numerous CD recordings as a chellist of the Franz Schubert Quartet. 1985–92 Professor for chamber music at the Academy of Music in Graz. Studied under V. Orloff at the Toronto University, A. Navarra and V. Erben at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where he received his Diploma with distinction in 1983. Additionally studied under W. Pleeth and H. Schiff. |
