ECM New Series include Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for Violin solos. He was concertmaster, soloist and conducter of A. Parrott‘s Taverner Players and of R. Norrington‘s London Classical Players. He taught at the Guildhall School London, the Schola Cantorum Basel and the Indiana University in Bloomington. He held master classes throughout Europe, USA, Canada, Korea, Colombia and New Zealand. In 2004 he was the Regents’ Lecturer at UC Berkeley, USA.
"Bach Special"
John Holloway, who counts as a pioneer of the “Early Music” movement in Britain, offers a special class for all string-players, developing the interpretation of J. S. Bachs music.
Soloists as well as chamber musicians are invited to register.
