“Virtuosos Without Borders”

Three passionate musicians having roots in Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Austria, Russia, Mexico, Croatia and Turkey, came together in Vienna with a common vision. They have taken it upon themselves to conquer the music world as Trio KlaViS, in the unique formation of piano (Sabina Hasanova), violin (Jenny Lippl) and saxophone (Miha Ferk).

Each member arranges and composes for Trio KlaViS. The trio also commissions pieces from prestigious composers in a multitude of styles. Leading the audience through engaging and creative programs that appeal to youthful listeners and classical music enthusiasts alike, Trio KlaViS communicates with the audience through both speech and music with their unique artistic charisma.

In the fall of 2013 the trio gave its Vienna Musikverein debut followed by an immediate re-invitation. The internationally renowned violinist and composer Aleksey Igudesman wrote a piece called “Take It To Eleven” exclusively for one of their programs. Some of the upcoming performances include the Vienna Musikverein, ORF Radiokulturhaus Vienna and Rudolf Buchbinder’s Grafenegg Festival.

The name Trio KlaViS derives from the German: “Klavier, Violine, Saxophon”.
